William Butler Lloyd was born on 6 November 1880.1 He was the son of George Butler Lloyd and Constance Mary Jenkins.2 He married Kathleen O’Farrell, daughter of Andrew George O’Farrell, on 14 April 1909.1 He died on 25 February 1944 at age 63.1
He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1904 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1907 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Judge of the Supreme Court [Nigeria].1
