     Isabel Penelope Hamilton Lighton was the son of Reverend Sir Christopher Robert Lighton, 6th Bt. and Mary Anne Elizabeth Ram.² He died on 15 April 1950, unmarried.¹

     James Houldsworth held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Coltness, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹

     Helen Frances Houldsworth was the daughter of James Houldsworth.² She married Sir Christopher Robert Lighton, 7th Bt., son of Reverend Sir Christopher Robert Lighton, 6th Bt. and Mary Anne Elizabeth Ram, on 6 April 1880.¹ She died on 12 January 1927.¹
     From 6 April 1880, her married name became Lighton.

     Sir Christopher Robert Lighton, 8th Bt. was born on 30 June 1897.¹ He was the son of Sir Christopher Robert Lighton, 7th Bt. and Helen Frances Houldsworth.² He married, firstly, Rachel Gwendoline Goodridge, daughter of Rear-Admiral Walter Somerville Goodridge, on 4 November 1926.¹ He and Rachel Gwendoline Goodridge were divorced in 1953 at Scotland.¹ He married, secondly, Horatia Edith Powlett, daughter of Armand Temple Powlett, on 26 June 1953.¹ He married, thirdly, Eve Mark-Wardlaw, daughter of Rear-Admiral Alexander Livingston Penrose Mark-Wardlaw, in 1985.¹ He died on 1 August 1993 at age 96.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Lighton, of Merville, co. Dublin [I., 1791] on 15 August 1929.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the War Office.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.¹

     Mabel Katharine Mary Lighton was born on 24 August 1888.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Christopher Robert Lighton, 7th Bt. and Helen Frances Houldsworth.² She died on 19 November 1972 at age 84.¹

     Winifred Helen Lighton was born on 12 January 1891.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Christopher Robert Lighton, 7th Bt. and Helen Frances Houldsworth.² She married Horatio John Ross, son of Edward C. R. Ross, on 11 May 1922.¹
     From 11 May 1922, her married name became Ross.

     Edward C. R. Ross lived at Rossie Castle, Forfar, Scotland.¹

     Horatio John Ross was the son of Edward C. R. Ross.² He married Winifred Helen Lighton, daughter of Sir Christopher Robert Lighton, 7th Bt. and Helen Frances Houldsworth, on 11 May 1922.¹ He died on 19 August 1965.¹
     He lived at Biggar Park, Biggar, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.²
