Rt. Rev. John Leslie was born on 12 October 1772.1 He was the son of Charles Powell Leslie and Hon. Prudence Penelope Hill-Trevor.3 He married Isabella St. Lawrence, daughter of Rt. Rev. Hon. Thomas St. Lawrence and Frances Coghlan, on 8 August 1808.1 He died on 22 July 1854 at age 81.1
He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)3 He held the office of Bishop of Dromore in 1812.1 He held the office of Bishop of Elphin in 1820.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1

Isabella St. Lawrence was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Hon. Thomas St. Lawrence and Frances Coghlan.3,4 She married Rt. Rev. John Leslie, son of Charles Powell Leslie and Hon. Prudence Penelope Hill-Trevor, on 8 August 1808.1 She died on 10 November 1830.1
From 8 August 1808, her married name became Leslie.
