     John Bruce Legard was born on 24 November 1924.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Legard and Ethel Gertrude Marriott.² He died on 14 January 2017 at age 92.³

     Roger Alexander Legard was born on 15 June 1891.¹ He was the son of Digby Charles Legard and Eleanor Clementina Bruce.² He died on 29 January 1972 at age 80, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Radley, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Lincolnshire Yeomanry.¹

     Geoffrey Philip Legard was born on 11 October 1892.¹ He was the son of Digby Charles Legard and Eleanor Clementina Bruce.² He died on 8 May 1915 at age 22, killed in action.¹
