     Sir Jean Marie Ivor Lees, 6th Bt. was born on 31 March 1875.1 He was the son of Sir Harcourt James Lees, 4th Bt. and Harriet Ellen Constance Howard.2 He married, firstly, Beatrice Nora Mary Davis in 1898.1 He married, secondly, Gladys Isobel Bull, daughter of Frederick William Bull, in 1927.2 He died on 2 April 1957 at age 82.1
     He was educated at St. Paul’s School, London, England.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Lees, of Black Rock, co. Dublin [U.K., 1804] on 10 March 1949.1
