     Charles Bridges was the son of Colonel Charles Harley Bridges.2 He married Esmé Andrea Maude Sybil Mary Stevenson, daughter of Colonel Andrew Scott Stevenson and Mary Esmé Gwendoline Grogan, on 14 April 1895.1 He died in 1939.1

     Esmé Frances Augusta Bridges was born on 8 June 1901.1 She was the daughter of Charles Bridges and Esmé Andrea Maude Sybil Mary Stevenson.2 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Arthur Nelson Forman in 1924.1 She married, secondly, Colonel Thomas Maxwell Moncrieff Penny after 1962.1 She died in 1990.1
     Esmé Frances Augusta Bridges also went by the nick-name of Dimpsie.1 From 1924, her married name became Forman. From after 1962, her married name became Penny.1
