     She was educated at Tortington Park, England.¹ She was with the Women’s Royal Naval Service.¹ She was PA to the owner of L’Apéritif at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ From 27 November 1973, her married name became Monteith. She lived in 2003 at 7 West Stanhope Place, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Brigadier John Cassels Monteith was the son of John Cassels Monteith.² He married Pamela Joan Laughton, daughter of Colonel Francis Eugene Laughton and Edwyna Katherine Isabel Stevenson, on 27 November 1973.¹ He died on 21 April 1983.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Black Watch.¹
