     Lt.-Col. Thomas Ball Carleton was born in 1735 at Strabane, County Tyrone, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Christopher Carleton and Catherine Ball.¹ He married Hannah van Hoorn.¹ He died on 17 February 1817 at Ramsgate, Kent, England.¹

     Elizabeth Jane King was born on 29 July 1941.¹ She is the daughter of John Alastair King and Ruby Enid Atkinson-Clark.²

     Pierina Holt is the daughter of unknown Holt.² She married John Alastair King, son of Sir John Westall King of Campsie, 2nd Bt. and Frances Rosa Neve, in 1957.¹
     Her married name became King.

     Sarah Rosemary King was born in 1959.¹ She is the daughter of John Alastair King and Pierina Holt.²

     Margaret Westall King was the daughter of Sir John Westall King of Campsie, 2nd Bt. and Frances Rosa Neve.² She married Captain Ewen Aymer Robert Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy, son of Sir Henry William Cameron-Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy, 3rd Bt. and Ada Christina Lucy, on 4 March 1930.² She died in 1994.²
     From 4 March 1930, her married name became Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy.

     Captain Ewen Aymer Robert Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy was born on 31 December 1899.² He was the son of Sir Henry William Cameron-Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy, 3rd Bt. and Ada Christina Lucy.² He married Margaret Westall King, daughter of Sir John Westall King of Campsie, 2nd Bt. and Frances Rosa Neve, on 4 March 1930.² He died on 12 July 1969 at age 69.²
     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th City London Regiment of the Territorial Army.² He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He served in 1919 at Mesopotamia.² He was Aide-de-Camp to the General Officer commanding the Madras District between 1920 and 1922.² He served in 1921 at Malabar, India.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1935 entitled to practise as a barrister.² He was a clerk at Merchant Taylors’ Company between 1937 and 1948.² He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1940, as a General Service Officer, and was invalided.² He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1952 with a Certificate of Christian Theology.² He wrote the book Nature of Men, Judge Not, published 1953.² He wrote the book Forbidden Freedom, published 1959.²

     Captain John Lockhart Nasmith married Margaret Hamilton, daughter of Gabriel Hamilton and Agnes Dundas, in 1788.¹
     He was commissioned on 14 December 1762 with the rank of Lieutenant, in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1779 in the Royal Navy.¹

     Penelope Charlotte Cooper-Key was born in 1901 at Sheppey, Kent, England.² She was the daughter of Captain Edmund Moore Cooper-Key and Florence Margaret Penelope Wigram.^3,4 She married Sir James Granville le Neve King of Campsie, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Westall King of Campsie, 2nd Bt. and Frances Rosa Neve, on 21 November 1928.¹ She died on 5 August 1994.¹
     From 21 November 1928, her married name became King.

     Susan Penelope King was born on 3 September 1929.¹ She is the daughter of Sir James Granville le Neve King of Campsie, 3rd Bt. and Penelope Charlotte Cooper-Key.² She married Christopher Marsden-Smedley, son of Basil Futvoye Marsden-Smedley and Hester Harriott Pinney, on 7 December 1957.¹
     From 7 December 1957, her married name became Marsden-Smedley. She lived in 2003 at Church Farm, Burrington, Bristol, England.¹
