     Herbert Kershaw, 2nd Baron Kershaw was born on 21 August 1904.¹ He was the son of Fred Kershaw, 1st Baron Kershaw and Frances Edith Wigmore.² He married Cissie Burness Smyth, daughter of Charles E. Smyth, in 1933.¹ He died on 18 July 1961 at age 56, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Glendale County School, Wood Green, London, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1942 and 1945 in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Kershaw, of Prestwich, co. Palatine of Lancaster [U.K., 1947] on 5 February 1961.¹

     Cissie Burness Smyth was the daughter of Charles E. Smyth.² She married Herbert Kershaw, 2nd Baron Kershaw, son of Fred Kershaw, 1st Baron Kershaw and Frances Edith Wigmore, in 1933.¹ She died on 15 May 2006.³
     From 1933, her married name became Kershaw. After her marriage, Cissie Burness Smyth was styled as Baroness Kershaw on 5 February 1961. She lived in 2003 at 29 St. Anne’s Road, Newquay, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Cecil Graham Ford lived at Richmond, London, England.¹

     Hon. Donald Arthur Kershaw was born on 8 September 1916.¹ He was the son of Fred Kershaw, 1st Baron Kershaw and Frances Edith Wigmore.² He married Barbara Edith Ford, daughter of Lt.-Col. Cecil Graham Ford, on 1 August 1942.¹ He died in 1991.¹
     He was educated at Friern Barnet Grammar School, Friern Barnet, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force, during the Second World War.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for South-West London.¹ He was solicitor and commissioner for oaths.¹

     Barbara Edith Ford was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Cecil Graham Ford.¹ She married Hon. Donald Arthur Kershaw, son of Fred Kershaw, 1st Baron Kershaw and Frances Edith Wigmore, on 1 August 1942.¹ She died in 1986.¹
     From 1 August 1942, her married name became Kershaw.

     Ian Graham Frederick Kershaw was born on 8 March 1948.¹ He is the son of Hon. Donald Arthur Kershaw and Barbara Edith Ford.²
     He lived in 2003 at 22 Priory Gardens, Old Basing, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Mark Nigel Kershaw was born on 28 February 1951.¹ He is the son of Hon. Donald Arthur Kershaw and Barbara Edith Ford.²

     Hon. Peter John Kershaw was born on 19 July 1924.¹ He was the son of Fred Kershaw, 1st Baron Kershaw and Frances Edith Wigmore.² He married Brenda Margaret Smith, daughter of James Austin Smith, on 24 July 1948.¹ He died on 10 March 2009 at age 84.³
     He was educated at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Barnet, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant (A) in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He graduated from King’s College London, London, England, in 1948 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Civil Engineers (F.I.C.E.)¹ He lived in 2003 at 22 Orchard Rise, Richmond, Surrey, England^G.¹
