     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, British Academy (F.B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Inns Court, Officer Training Corps.¹ He was Director and Principal Librarian, British Museum between 1909 and 1930.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He was president of the British Academy between 1917 and 1921.¹ He was Professor of Ancient History, Royal Acadamy in 1918.¹ He held the office of Gentleman Usher of the Purple Rod, Order of the British Empire between 1918 and 1952.¹ He was Trustee of the Imperial War Museum between 1920 and 1946.¹ He was Honorary Associate, Royal Institute of British Architects (A.R.I.B.A.) in 1923.¹ He was trustee of the National Maritime Museum between 1934 and 1938.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.)¹

     Amy Hunt was the daughter of Rowland Hunt.² She married Sir Frederic George Kenyon, son of John Robert Kenyon and Mary Eliza Hawkins, on 6 August 1891.¹ She died on 16 July 1938.¹
     From 6 August 1891, her married name became Kenyon.

     Kathleen Mary Kenyon was born on 5 January 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Frederic George Kenyon and Amy Hunt.² She died on 24 August 1978 at age 72.¹
     She graduated from Somerville College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ She was Lecturer of the Institute Archaeology between 1948 and 1962 at London University, London, England.¹ She was Director of the British School of Archaeology between 1951 and 1966 at Jerusalem, Israel.¹ She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1954.¹ She was educated in 1959 at Kenyon College, Ohio, U.S.A.¹ She was appointed Fellow, British Academy (F.B.A.)¹ She was the Principal in 1962 at St. Hugh’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ She was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.)¹

     Nora Gwendolen Margaret Kenyon was born on 21 February 1908.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Frederic George Kenyon and Amy Hunt.² She married John Ritchie, son of W. Tod Ritchie, on 18 April 1936.¹ She died on 16 May 1994 at age 86.¹
     She was educated in 1918 at St. Paul’s Girls’ School, London, England.¹ She graduated from Somerville College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ From 18 April 1936, her married name became Ritchie.

     W. Tod Ritchie lived at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     John Ritchie was the son of W. Tod Ritchie.² He married Nora Gwendolen Margaret Kenyon, daughter of Sir Frederic George Kenyon and Amy Hunt, on 18 April 1936.¹ He died in 1988.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He held the office of Master of the Supreme Court, Queen’s Bench Division.¹

     Jeremy Kenyon Tod Ritchie was born on 17 October 1942.¹ He is the son of John Ritchie and Nora Gwendolen Margaret Kenyon.² He married Barbara Ann Blackwell.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived in 2003 at The Grange, Grange Road, Penley, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales.¹

     Barbara Ann Blackwell married Jeremy Kenyon Tod Ritchie, son of John Ritchie and Nora Gwendolen Margaret Kenyon.¹
     Her married name became Ritchie.

     Simon John Ritchie was born on 2 August 1974.¹ He is the son of Jeremy Kenyon Tod Ritchie and Barbara Ann Blackwell.² He married Joanne Curley on 5 October 2002.¹
