     Francis Kennedy was born on 21 November 1826.1 He was the son of Sir John Kennedy, 1st Bt. and Maria Beauman.2 He married Elizabeth Sanders, daughter of Christopher Sanders and Elizabeth Bromhead, on 26 February 1857.1 He died in 1862.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 77th Regiment.1

     Elizabeth Sanders was the daughter of Christopher Sanders and Elizabeth Bromhead.1,2 She married, firstly, Francis Kennedy, son of Sir John Kennedy, 1st Bt. and Maria Beauman, on 26 February 1857.1 She married, secondly, Sir George Ribton, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Sheppy Ribton, 3rd Bt., on 22 June 1869.1 She died on 27 February 1906.2
     From 26 February 1857, her married name became Kennedy. From 22 June 1869, her married name became Ribton.1
