John Davenport Siddeley, 1st Baron Kenilworth1 
John Davenport Siddeley, 1st Baron Kenilworth was born on 5 August 1866.1 He was the son of William Siddeley and Elizabeth Davenport.3 He married Sarah Mabel Goodier, daughter of James Goodier and Mary (?), on 9 March 1893.1 He died on 3 November 1953 at age 87.1
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Warwickshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Coventry.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.1 He was chairman and managing director of Armstrong-Siddeley Motors and Sir W G Armstrong-Whitworth Aircraft.1 He was chairman of Armstrong-Siddeley Development Co, A V Roe & Company and Air Service Training Ltd.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1932.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1932.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Aeronautical Society (F.R.A.E.S.)1 He was created 1st Baron Kenilworth, of Kenilworth, co. Warwick [U.K.] on 10 June 1937.3
