     General Sir Allen Bayard Johnson was born on 2 May 1829.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Allen Johnson, 2nd Bt. and Charlotte Elizabeth Philipse.2 He died on 7 February 1907 at age 77, unmarried.1
     He was Military Secretary, India Office between 1877 and 1889.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1

Maj.-Gen. Alured Clarke Johnson1

     Maj.-Gen. Alured Clarke Johnson was born on 30 October 1832.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Allen Johnson, 2nd Bt. and Charlotte Elizabeth Philipse.2 He married Sophia Mary Georgiana Taylor, daughter of Pierce Gilbert Edward Taylor and Sophia Amaranthe Shaw, on 12 December 1860.1,3 He died on 9 December 1889 at age 57.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.1

     Pierce Gilbert Edward Taylor was born on 13 December 1810.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Thomas William Taylor and Anne Harvey Petrie.2 He was baptised on 8 January 1811 at Fort William, Bengal, India.2 He married, firstly, Sophia Amaranthe Shaw on 18 February 1836 at Fort William, Bengal, India.2 He married, secondly, Anna Maria Elizabeth Elliot, daughter of Hon. John Edmund Elliot and Amelia Casamaijor, on 18 May 1865.3 He died on 26 August 1890 at age 79.2
     He lived at Ogwell House, Devon, EnglandG.3 He was with the Bengal Civil Service.1

     Sophia Mary Georgiana Taylor was born on 6 October 1839.2 She was the daughter of Pierce Gilbert Edward Taylor and Sophia Amaranthe Shaw.3 She was baptised on 22 February 1840 at Berhampore, Bengal, India.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Alured Clarke Johnson, son of Sir Henry Allen Johnson, 2nd Bt. and Charlotte Elizabeth Philipse, on 12 December 1860.1,2 She died on 8 December 1908 at age 69.1
     From 12 December 1860, her married name became Johnson.
