     He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Army Medical Service.¹

     James Arnotts was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.)¹ He lived at Leithfield, Kincardineshire, Scotland.¹

     Charlotte Arnotts is the daughter of James Arnotts.² She married William Johnston, son of Robert Johnston and Mary Hadden, in 1882.¹
     From 1882, her married name became Johnston.

     Sir George Johnston of Caskieben, 10th Bt. was born on 21 April 1849.¹ He was the son of Robert Johnston and Mary Hadden.² He married Agnes Elizabeth Sparkes, daughter of Reverend Richard John Sparkes, on 15 November 1876.¹ He died on 11 May 1921 at age 72, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Johnston, of Caskieben [N.S., 1626] on 22 November 1917.¹

     Reverend Richard John Sparkes was Rector at Alford, Surrey, England.¹

     Agnes Elizabeth Sparkes was the daughter of Reverend Richard John Sparkes.² She married Sir George Johnston of Caskieben, 10th Bt., son of Robert Johnston and Mary Hadden, on 15 November 1876.¹ She died on 28 May 1922.¹
     From 15 November 1876, her married name became Johnston.

     Catherine Johnston was the daughter of Robert Johnston and Mary Hadden.² She married Colonel James Allardyce on 23 September 1869.¹ She died on 17 January 1900.¹
     From 23 September 1869, her married name became Allardyce.

     Colonel James Allardyce married Catherine Johnston, daughter of Robert Johnston and Mary Hadden, on 23 September 1869.¹ He died on 6 March 1910.¹

     Rachel Johnston was the daughter of William Johnston and Catherine Morice.² She married Sir Alexander Anderson on 26 March 1835.¹ She died on 15 December 1886.¹
     From 26 March 1835, her married name became Anderson.

     Sir Alexander Anderson married Rachel Johnston, daughter of William Johnston and Catherine Morice, on 26 March 1835.¹ He died on 11 April 1887.¹
