     Robert Fergus Jenks was born on 12 July 1909.¹ He was the son of Sir Maurice Jenks, 1st Bt. and Martha Louise Christabel Smith.² He married, firstly, Joyce Wynne Booth, daughter of Albert Edward Booth and Florence Louise Scruby, on 4 February 1933.¹ He and Joyce Wynne Booth were divorced in 1938.¹ He married, secondly, Molly Estelle Griffiths, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Albert Edward Griffiths, on 29 November 1939.¹ He died on 25 February 1982 at age 72 at Romsey, Hampshire, England.^1,3
     He was awarded the Croix de Guerre with palm.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1943.¹

     David Robin Jenks was born in July 1934.¹ He was the son of Robert Fergus Jenks and Joyce Wynne Booth.² He died on 14 November 1936 at age 2.¹

     Molly Estelle Griffiths is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Albert Edward Griffiths.² She married, firstly, F/Lt. John F. Dallas before 1939.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Fergus Jenks, son of Sir Maurice Jenks, 1st Bt. and Martha Louise Christabel Smith, on 29 November 1939.¹
