     Alexander Walker MacTier was born on 28 December 1819 at Calcutta, India^G.¹ He was the son of Anthony MacTier and Maria Binny.¹ He married, firstly, Marion Amelia Ward on 23 February 1867.^1,2 He married, secondly, Jane B. Dick on 19 November 1889 at Newington, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He died on 26 July 1892 at age 72 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Marion Amelia Ward was born circa 1842 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.¹ She married Alexander Walker MacTier, son of Anthony MacTier and Maria Binny, on 23 February 1867.^1,2 She died on 1 October 1887 at St. George, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,2
     From 23 February 1867, her married name became MacTier.¹

     Anstruther MacTier was born on 6 May 1821 at Calcutta, India^G.¹ He was the son of Anthony MacTier and Maria Binny.¹ He married Susan Janette Young on 21 February 1848.¹ He died on 22 July 1857 at age 36 at Jullundur, Punjab, India^G.¹
