     James Irvine, 2nd of Artamford was the son of John Irvine, 1st of Artamford and Beatrix Irvine.2 He married Anna Keith, daughter of Alexander Keith, 3rd of Ravenscraig and unknown daughter Irvine, before 1633.1 He died on 14 September 1672.1

     Alexander Irvine, 4th of Artamford and 16th of Drum was the son of James Irvine, 3rd of Artamford and Margaret Sutherland.2 He married Isabel Thomson, daughter of Thomas Thomson of Faichfield, in 1698.2 He died in 1744.2
     He bought the estate of Crimond, near Peterhead.2 He sold Artamford on 17 November 1703 to William Irvine, 5th of Artamford.1

     William Irvine, 5th of Artamford was the son of James Irvine, 3rd of Artamford and Margaret Sutherland.2 He married Isobel Keith.1 He died after 18 April 1754.1
     He purchased Artamford on 17 November 1703 from Alexander Irvine, 4th of Artamford and 16th of Drum.1
