     Major John Innes was born on 27 December 1755.¹ He was the son of William Innes and Janet Sinclair.² He married Margaret Liddell, daughter of Andrew Liddell.¹ He died circa 22 July 1812 at Salamanca, Spain, killed in action.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the 94th Regiment.¹ He fought in the Battle of Salamanca circa 22 July 1812.²

     Andrew Liddell graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Margaret Liddell is the daughter of Andrew Liddell.² She married Major John Innes, son of William Innes and Janet Sinclair.¹
     Her married name became Innes.

     Colonel William Innes was born on 1 January 1806.¹ He was the son of Major John Innes and Margaret Liddell.² He died on 28 May 1872 at age 66.¹
     He was Colonel in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Andrew Liddell Innes was born in 1808.¹ He was the son of Major John Innes and Margaret Liddell.² He died on 26 December 1895, unmarried.¹

     Peter Innes was born on 27 December 1756.¹ He was the son of William Innes and Janet Sinclair.² He married Magdalen Manson on 17 April 1822.¹ He died in 1822.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 79th Regiment.¹ He lived at Tannach, Caithness, Scotland.¹

     Magdalen Manson married Peter Innes, son of William Innes and Janet Sinclair, on 17 April 1822.¹
     From 17 April 1822, her married name became Innes.

     Robert Innes was born legitimated in 1822 on 1 March 1804.¹ He was the son of Peter Innes and Magdalen Manson.² He married, firstly, Margaret Calder.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Macdonald.¹
     He lived at Hayfield of Olrig, Scotland.¹
