     William Innes was born in 1791.1 He was the son of Major James Innes, 1st of Thrumster and Margaret Clunes.2 He died in 1812 at Badajoz, Spain, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Siege of Badajoz.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 94th Regiment.1

     Gordon Clunes Innes was born in 1792.1 He was the son of Major James Innes, 1st of Thrumster and Margaret Clunes.2 He died on 22 July 1812 at Salamanca, Spain, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 94th Regiment.1 He fought in the Battle of Salamanca on 22 July 1812.1

     Robert Innes, 2nd of Thrumster was born on 20 October 1794.1 He was the son of Major James Innes, 1st of Thrumster and Margaret Clunes.2 He married Henrietta Southdun, daughter of Colonel William Sinclair Wemyss Southdun, on 29 June 1836.1 He died on 10 January 1852 at age 57, without male issue.1

     From 29 June 1836, her married name became Innes.

     Henrietta Innes, 3rd of Thrumster was born on 18 May 1837.1 She was the daughter of Robert Innes, 2nd of Thrumster and Henrietta Southdun.2 She married Frederick Stocks Bentley-Innes on 2 December 1856.1 She died in 1896.1
     From 2 December 1856, her married name became Bentley-Innes.

     Frederick Stocks Bentley-Innes married Henrietta Innes, 3rd of Thrumster, daughter of Robert Innes, 2nd of Thrumster and Henrietta Southdun, on 2 December 1856.1 He died in May 1887.1
     He was admitted to Gentlemen-at-Arms.1 He was a practising barrister.1 He was given the name of Frederick Stocks Bentley at birth.1

     James Innes was born on 29 April 1796.1 He was the son of Major James Innes, 1st of Thrumster and Margaret Clunes.2 He married Jane Alicia McLeod, daughter of Duncan McLeod of Geanie, on 10 December 1828.1 He died on 4 July 1846 at age 50.1
     He was with the Bengal Medical Service.1
