     William Grant was born on 5 April 1795.² He was the son of William Grant and Dorothea Dalrymple.² He was baptised on 4 May 1795 at Dirleton, East Lothian, Scotland.² He married Susan Campbell, daughter of Sir Archibald Campbell of Succoth, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Balfour, in 1822.³ He died before 1868.³
     He lived at Congalton, East Lothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Gerald Edward William Hervey was born on 5 December 1881.¹ He was the son of Sir George William Hervey and Emily Dora Pelham-Clinton.¹ He married Elizabeth Margaret du Toit, daughter of Stephen John du Toit, on 23 September 1914.¹ He died on 21 August 1934 at age 52.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Suffolk Regiment.¹

     Elizabeth Margaret du Toit was the daughter of Stephen John du Toit.¹ She married Gerald Edward William Hervey, son of Sir George William Hervey and Emily Dora Pelham-Clinton, on 23 September 1914.¹ She died in June 1964.¹
     Her married name became Hervey.

     Stephen John du Toit lived at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa^G.¹

     Alexander George Hervey was born on 26 May 1920.¹ He is the son of Gerald Edward William Hervey and Elizabeth Margaret du Toit.¹
     He lived at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa^G. He gained the rank of Private in the 1st Rand Light Infantry.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.¹

     Hazel Lily Hervey was born on 20 December 1915.¹ She is the daughter of Gerald Edward William Hervey and Elizabeth Margaret du Toit.¹ She married William Christian Bouwer, son of William Christian Bouwer, on 13 February 1937.¹
     Her married name became Bouwer.

     William Christian Bouwer was the son of William Christian Bouwer.¹ He married Hazel Lily Hervey, daughter of Gerald Edward William Hervey and Elizabeth Margaret du Toit, on 13 February 1937.¹ He died on 29 September 1944, while on active service.¹

     William Christian Bouwer lived at Heilbron, Orange Free State, South Africa^G.¹

     Kenneth William Bouwer was born on 10 January 1940.¹ He is the son of William Christian Bouwer and Hazel Lily Hervey.¹
     He graduated from Witwatersrand University, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa^G, with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)¹

     Philip Henry Charles Hervey was born on 13 January 1883.¹ He was the son of Sir George William Hervey and Emily Dora Pelham-Clinton.¹ He died on 4 August 1963 at age 80, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹
