Major Anthony Robert Whately-Smith1 
Major Anthony Robert Whately-Smith was born in 1915 at East Preston, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Reverend Ernest Whately-Smith and Dorothy Ada Calkin.1 He died on 25 November 1944 at Gaggenau, Germany, executed after being captured by the Germans.1,3 He was buried at Durnbach, Bayern, Germany.3
He gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Special Air Service Regiment.1 He fought in the Second World War.3
