     John Cecil Jolliffe was born on 17 March 1873.¹ He was the son of Hon. William Sydney Hylton Jolliffe and Gertrude Henrietta Eaton.² He died on 18 February 1900 at age 26 at South Africa, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Norfolk Regiment.¹

     Conyers Herbert Jolliffe was born on 16 April 1876.¹ He was the son of Hon. William Sydney Hylton Jolliffe and Gertrude Henrietta Eaton.² He died on 20 July 1951 at age 75.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Major Berkeley Gerald Hylton Jolliffe was born on 31 October 1878.¹ He was the son of Hon. William Sydney Hylton Jolliffe and Gertrude Henrietta Eaton.² He married Mary Viola Guthrie, daughter of Captain John Douglas Maude Guthrie, 19th of Guthrie and Mary Davidson of Tulloch, on 23 January 1919.¹ He died on 13 February 1956 at age 77.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Guards.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Captain John Douglas Maude Guthrie, 19th of Guthrie married Mary Davidson of Tulloch.²
     He lived at Guthrie, Forfarshire, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1972.¹

     Mary Viola Guthrie was the daughter of Captain John Douglas Maude Guthrie, 19th of Guthrie and Mary Davidson of Tulloch.^2,3 She married Major Berkeley Gerald Hylton Jolliffe, son of Hon. William Sydney Hylton Jolliffe and Gertrude Henrietta Eaton, on 23 January 1919.¹ She died in 1984.¹
     From 23 January 1919, her married name became Jolliffe.

     John Neil Hylton Jolliffe was born on 21 January 1923.¹ He was the son of Major Berkeley Gerald Hylton Jolliffe and Mary Viola Guthrie.² He married Eileen Mary Ing, daughter of Colonel George Harold Absell Ing, on 26 October 1957.¹ He died on 14 August 1976 at age 53.¹
