     William Guy Horne was born on 19 September 1889.¹ He was the son of Sir William Edgar Horne, 1st Bt. and Margery May.² He married, firstly, Louisa Carey Hardy, daughter of Herbert Carey Hardy and Adela Louisa Cassandra Knight, in July 1920.¹ He and Louisa Carey Hardy were divorced in 1949.¹ He married, secondly, Hortense Barbiton after 1949.¹ He died on 3 August 1974 at age 84 at France.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he became a POW.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the 19th Royal Hussars.¹ He gained the rank of in 1921 in the 10th Hussars.¹ He retired from the military in 1930, with the rank of Major.¹ He was a director of Prudential Assurance between 1932 and 1942.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1943, with the Auxiliary Air Force.¹

     David Barclay was born on 29 September 1784 at Surrey, England.¹ He was the son of Robert Barclay and Rachel Gurney. He married Maria Dorothea Williamson, daughter of Sir Hedworth Williamson, 6th Bt. and Maria Hamilton, on 20 October 1818 at Eastwick, Surrey, England.¹ He died in 1861 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹
