[Ireland] in 1777.1 He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of County Limerick between 1780 and 1818.1 He was created 1st Baron Muskerry, co. Cork [Ireland] on 5 January 1781.1

Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk was born on 10 April 1756.1 He was the son of Admiral George Carnegie, 6th Earl of Northesk and Lady Anne Leslie.3,1 He married Mary Ricketts, daughter of William Henry Ricketts and Mary Jervis, on 9 December 1788.1 He died on 28 May 1831 at age 75.1
