     Sir Richard Alfred Pinsent, 1st Bt. was born on 3 August 1852.² He was the son of Richard Steele Pinsent and Catherine Agnes Ross.¹ He married Laura Proctor Ryland, daughter of Thomas Ryland, on 7 August 1878.² He died on 2 October 1948 at age 96.²
     He was educated at Amersham Hall, Caversham, Reading, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² He was a practising solicitor in 1873.² He was a senior member of the Council of the Law Society and chairman Statutory Discipline Committee.² He was president of the Statutory Discipline Committee between 1918 and 1919.² He was awarded the honorary degree of Master of Arts (M.A.) by Birmingham University, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G, in 1919.² He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Birmingham University, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G, in 1928.² He was created 1st Baronet Pinsent, of Selly Hill, City of Birmingham [U.K.] on 3 February 1938.²

     Kathleen Jane Macpherson was the daughter of George Macpherson.² She married Clive Pinsent, son of Sir Richard Alfred Pinsent, 1st Bt. and Laura Proctor Ryland, on 14 July 1921.¹ She died in 1974.³
     From 14 July 1921, her married name became Pinsent.¹

     Sir Matthew Clive Pinsent was born on 10 October 1970 at Holt, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He is the son of Reverend Ewen Macpherson Pinsent and Jean Grizel McMicking.¹ He married Demetra Koutsoukos on 12 October 2002.¹
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 2005.

     Demetra Koutsoukos married Sir Matthew Clive Pinsent, son of Reverend Ewen Macpherson Pinsent and Jean Grizel McMicking, on 12 October 2002.¹
     From 12 October 2002, her married name became Pinsent.¹

     Jonah Pinsent was born on 26 June 2006.¹ He is the son of Sir Matthew Clive Pinsent and Demetra Koutsoukos.¹

     Lucas Pinsent was born on 26 June 2006.¹ He is the son of Sir Matthew Clive Pinsent and Demetra Koutsoukos.¹

     Eve Pinsent was born on 10 March 2008.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Matthew Clive Pinsent and Demetra Koutsoukos.¹

     Betty May Smith was the daughter of Harry Smith.¹ She married Major Nicholas Brian Hanmer, son of Thomas William Hanmer and Ivy Mira Frances Dodd, in 1970.¹ She died on 30 May 1999.¹
     From 1970, her married name became Hanmer.¹

     Harry Smith lived at Sudbury Hill, England^G.¹

     Destine Marie Jolliffe is the daughter of Reginald Harry John Jolliffe.¹ She married, firstly, John Patrick Vernon Summers before 1999.¹ She married, secondly, Major Nicholas Brian Hanmer, son of Thomas William Hanmer and Ivy Mira Frances Dodd, after 1999.¹
     From before 1999, her married name became Summers.¹ From after 1999, her married name became Hanmer.¹
