     Sir James Doughty-Tichborne, 10th Bt. was born on 3 October 1784.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Tichborne, 7th Bt. and Elizabeth Lucy Plowden.1 He married Henriette Felicite Seymour, daughter of Henry Seymour and Felicite Dailly-Brimont.2 He died on 11 June 1862 at age 77.1
     He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Tichborne.
