     Janet Clare Bruce usually went by her middle name of Clare.¹ From 1979, her married name became Carson.¹ She lived in 2003 at Conagalton, East Lothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Isla Hamilton Forbes was born on 31 October 1926.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Herbert d’Esterre Forbes and Emily Flora Keyes.¹ She married Reverend Philip Paul Stanley Brownless, son of Reverend William Stanley Brownless and Harriette Mellish Flint, on 6 July 1948.¹ She died on 27 December 2014 at age 88 at Chichester, Sussex, England.²
