     Arthur George Evelyn Morley was born on 12 September 1830 at Hastings, Sussex, England^G.¹ He was the son of Arthur Thomas Morley and Louisa Evelyn Liardet.¹ He married Emma Morrison Begbie in 1856 at Madras, India^G.¹ He died in 1885 at Steyning, Sussex, England^G.¹

     John Blackwood Colwell was baptised on 15 November 1833 at St. Mary’s, Portsea, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He married Diana Jane Evelyn Morley, daughter of Arthur Thomas Morley and Louisa Evelyn Liardet, in 1854.¹ He died in 1892 at Sussex, England^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Marines.¹
