     Captain Arthur Cunliffe Bernard Critchley-Waring was born on 27 April 1886 at Stockport, Cheshire, England.² He was the son of Godfrey Critchley-Salmonson.¹ He married Hon. Eleanor Gladys Waring, daughter of Samuel James Waring, 1st and last Baron Waring and Eleanor Caroline Bamford, on 3 October 1923.¹ He died on 14 October 1930 at age 44 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.²
     He was given the name of Arthur Cunliffe Bernard Critchley at birth.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ On 14 August 1929 his name was legally changed to Arthur Cunliffe Bernard Critchley-Waring by Royal Licence.¹

     Alexander Stuart Donaldson was born on 20 May 1842 at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend John William Donaldson and Eleanor Leathes Mortlock.²
     1851 England Census records Alexander as a pupil in the school of which his father was headmaster at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.³

     Reverend Thomas Watson married Eleanora McHaffe, daughter of David McHaffe.¹
     He lived at Covington, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Maria Leicester was born in 1809.¹ She married John Leicester. She died in ?.

The Dictionary of National Biography reference is consistent with mention in The Sydney Herald, Monday 10 May 1841, of Mrs Leicester and child among passengers who departed for London aboard the barque, Honduras, on 9 May 1841.

To be confirmed: born either 1806 or 1809, at 1851 England Census, likely to be one of two persons named Maria Leicester living in Kent or Lancashire with spouse named John Leicester, whose occupation in both cases was tailor.
