     Thomas King, 5th Lord King, Baron of Ockham was born on 19 March 1712.1 He was the son of Peter King, 1st Lord King, Baron of Ockham and Anne Seys.1 He married Catherina Troye, daughter of John Troye, on 17 August 1734.1 He died on 4 April 1779 at age 67.1

     Peter King, 1st Lord King, Baron of Ockham was born in 1669.1 He was the son of Jerome King and Anne Locke.1 He married Anne Seys, daughter of Richard Seys, in September 1704.1 He died on 22 July 1734.1
     He was educated at Exeter Grammar School, Exeter, Devon, EnglandG.1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1698 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Beeralston between 1701 and 1714.1 He held the office of Recorder of Glastonbury in 1705.1 He was appointed Knight in 1708.1 He held the office of Recorder of London between 1708 and 1715.1 He held the office of Lord Chief Justice between 1714 and 1725.1 He held the office of Speaker, House of Lords in 1725.1 He held the office of Lord Chancellor between 1725 and 1733.1 He was created 1st Lord King, Baron of Ockham, co. Surrey [Great Britain] on 29 May 1725.1

     Anne Seys was the daughter of Richard Seys.1 She married Peter King, 1st Lord King, Baron of Ockham, son of Jerome King and Anne Locke, in September 1704.1 She died on 1 July 1767.1
     From September 1704, her married name became King.1

     John King, 2nd Lord King, Baron of Ockham was baptised on 13 January 1705/6.1 He was the son of Peter King, 1st Lord King, Baron of Ockham and Anne Seys.1 He married Elizabeth Fry, daughter of John Fry, in May 1726.1 He died on 10 February 1740 at age 34, without issue.1
     He was Outranger of Windsor Forest between 1726 and 1740.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Launceston between 1727 and 1734.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord King, Baron of Ockham, co. Surrey [G.B., 1725] on 22 July 1734.1
