     Captain Allen Villiers Surtees married Ishbel Agnes Marjoribanks, daughter of Hon. Coutts Marjoribanks and Agnes Margaret Kinloch, on 17 August 1921.¹

     Hon. Archibald John Marjoribanks was born on 25 November 1861.¹ He was the son of Dudley Coutts Marjoribanks, 1st Baron Tweedmouth of Edington and Isabella Hogg.¹ He married Elizabeth Brown, daughter of James Trimble Brown, on 17 February 1897.¹ He died on 4 September 1900 at age 38.¹
     He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹

     Elizabeth Brown was the daughter of James Trimble Brown.¹ She married, firstly, Hon. Archibald John Marjoribanks, son of Dudley Coutts Marjoribanks, 1st Baron Tweedmouth of Edington and Isabella Hogg, on 17 February 1897.¹ She married, secondly, Douglas McGarel Hogg, 1st Viscount Hailsham, son of Quintin Hogg and Alice Anna Graham, on 14 August 1905.¹ She died on 10 May 1925.¹
     From 17 February 1897, her married name became Marjoribanks.¹ From 14 August 1905, her married name became Hogg.¹

     James Trimble Brown held the office of Governor of Tennessee.² He lived at Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A.^G.¹ He held the office of Judge.¹ He held the office of U.S. Ambassador to Russia in 1853.²

     Edward Marjoribanks was born on 14 February 1900.¹ He was the son of Hon. Archibald John Marjoribanks and Elizabeth Brown.¹ He died on 2 April 1932 at age 32, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn entitled to practise as a Barrister at Law.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was President of the Oxford Union in 1922.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sussex, Eastbourne Division in 1929.¹ He wrote the book Life of Sir Edward Marshall Hall.¹

     Isobel Marianne Frances Marjoribanks was born on 7 October 1898.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Archibald John Marjoribanks and Elizabeth Brown.¹ She married, firstly, Bertram Ellerbeck on 30 October 1920.¹ She and Bertram Ellerbeck were divorced in 1929.¹ She married, secondly, Captain unknown Beilby after 1929.¹
     From 30 October 1920, her married name became Ellerbeck.¹ From after 1929, her married name became Beilby.¹

     Bertram Ellerbeck married Isobel Marianne Frances Marjoribanks, daughter of Hon. Archibald John Marjoribanks and Elizabeth Brown, on 30 October 1920.¹ He and Isobel Marianne Frances Marjoribanks were divorced in 1929.¹

     Captain unknown Beilby married Isobel Marianne Frances Marjoribanks, daughter of Hon. Archibald John Marjoribanks and Elizabeth Brown, after 1929.¹

     Hon. Annie Grizel Marjoribanks was born circa 1855.¹ She was the daughter of Dudley Coutts Marjoribanks, 1st Baron Tweedmouth of Edington and Isabella Hogg.¹ She died on 20 August 1856.¹

     Reverend William Henry Greaves Twining was born on 24 March 1853.¹ He was the son of Edwin Twining and Lucy Greaves.¹ He married Agatha Georgina Bourne, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Bourne and Anna Eliza Baker, on 30 October 1894.¹ He died on 27 September 1932 at age 79.¹
     He was an Associate in 1882 at King’s College, University of London, London, England^G.¹ He wrote the book Some Facts in the History of the Twining Family, published between 1892 and 1896.¹
