     Anna Whitney was born circa 1690.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Whitney and Maria Boleyn.¹ She married Reverend Ambrose Upton, son of Ambrose Upton and Jane Wright.¹
     Her married name became Upton.¹

     Reverend Ambrose Upton was the son of Ambrose Upton and Jane Wright.¹ He married Anna Whitney, daughter of Colonel Thomas Whitney and Maria Boleyn.¹ He died in 1752.²
     He was Rector and Vicar at Killeneboy, Ireland.² He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1711 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)²
