     Daphne M. Baker was born in 1946 at Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ She is the daughter of Harold O. Baker and Elizabeth M. Merriman.¹

     Colonel Hugh Andrew Robert Mitchell was born on 12 September 1816.¹ He was the son of Colonel Hugh Henry Mitchell and Lady Harriett Isabella Somerset.¹ He married Sarah Lowndes, daughter of Henry Dalston Lowndes, on 30 July 1844.¹ He died on 21 August 1857 at age 40.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹

     Sarah Lowndes was born on 22 March 1823.² She was the daughter of Henry Dalston Lowndes. She married Colonel Hugh Andrew Robert Mitchell, son of Colonel Hugh Henry Mitchell and Lady Harriett Isabella Somerset, on 30 July 1844.¹ She died on 3 April 1904 at age 81.²
     From 30 July 1844, her married name became Mitchell.¹

     Cecily Scott is the daughter of Patrick Scott of Langshaw.¹ She married Charles Kerr, son of William Kerr, 1st Earl of Lothian and Lady Anne Kerr.¹
     Her married name became Kerr.¹

     Dr. unknown Wilkinson married Lady Vere Kerr, daughter of Robert Kerr, 1st Earl of Ancrame and Lady Anne Stanley.¹
     He lived at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Colonel Nathaniel Rich was the son of Robert Rich and Elizabeth Dutton.² He married Lady Elizabeth Kerr, daughter of Robert Kerr, 1st Earl of Ancrame and Lady Anne Stanley.¹ He married Elizabeth Hampden, daughter of Sir Edmund Hampden.² He died in 1701.²
     He fought in the Battle of Naseby, for the Parliamentarians.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cirencester in 1649.²
