     Sir Anthony John Tennant was born on 5 November 1930.² He was the son of Major John Tennant and Hon. Antonia Mary Roby Benson.¹ He married Rosemary Violet Stockdale, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Charles Minshull Stockdale and Hon. Margaret Violet Henderson, on 12 July 1954.³ He died on 4 August 2011 at age 80.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.⁴ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)⁴ He was managing director of Inernational Distillers and Vintners Ltd between 1976 and 1982.³ He was chairman of Guinness between 1983 and 1992.⁴ He was appointed Knight in 1992.⁴ He was deputy chairman of Forte plc between 1992 and 1996.³ He was chairman of Christie’s International plc between May 1993 and 1996.⁴ He was deputy chairman of Wellcome plc between 1994 and 1995.³

     Rosemary Irene Hennessy was the daughter of Sir Alfred Theodore Hennessy and Margaret Isabella Moodie.¹ She married Major John Tennant, son of Rt. Hon. Harold John Tennant and Margaret Edith Abraham, on 4 May 1948.¹ She died on 3 August 2014.²
     From 4 May 1948, her married name became Tennant.¹ She lived in 2003 at 3 Wittersham House, Wittersham, Kent, England^G.¹

     Sir Alfred Theodore Hennessy married Margaret Isabella Moodie, daughter of Donald Moodie.
     He lived at Wynberg, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹

     Ivo Simon Tennant was born on 28 November 1955.¹ He is the son of Major John Tennant and Rosemary Irene Hennessy.¹ He married Carole Valerie Martel, daughter of Major Charles Peter Martel and Susan Carole Ropner, in 1985.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at The White House, Awbridge Hill, Awbridge, Romsey, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Alice Patience Agatha Sanderson was born on 7 February 2006.¹ She is the daughter of Guy R. Sanderson and Laura Hargreaves Prideaux.¹
