     Thomas Nugent, 1st Baron Nugent of Riverston was the son of Richard Nugent, 2nd Earl of Westmeath and Mary Nugent.¹ He married Marianna Barnewall, daughter of Henry Barnewall, 2nd Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland and Hon. Mary Netterville, circa September 1680.¹ He died on 2 April 1715.¹

Westmeath [Ireland] on 3 April 1689, after James II vacated the English throne but before his defeat at the Battle of the Boyne.¹ He was initially outlawed as a Jacobite, but benefited from the terms of capitulation of Limerick and recovered his landed property.¹
