     She was an actress, including as Joanna in Noel Coward’s Present Laughter, and Ethel in his The Happy Breed.¹ She was also known as Judy Campbell.¹ The song ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’, was written after her.¹ Her married name became Birkin.

     Andrew Timothy Birkin was born on 9 December 1945.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. David Leslie Birkin and Judy Mary Gamble.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He wrote the book J.M. Barrie and The Lost Boys, published 2003 (ASIN: 0300098227.)¹

     Jane Mallory Birkin was born on 14 December 1946.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. David Leslie Birkin and Judy Mary Gamble.¹ She married John Barry Prendergast, son of Jack Xavier Prendergast, on 16 October 1965.¹ She and John Barry Prendergast were divorced in 1968.¹ She died on 16 July 2023 at age 76.³
