Colonel Sempronius Stretton was the son of unknown Stretton. He married Hon. Anne Handcock, daughter of Richard Handcock, 2nd Baron Castlemaine of Moydrum and Anne French, on 14 October 1830.1 He died on 5 February 1842.1
He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1
