Captain Sir John Meynell Alleyne, 4th Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Alleyne, of Four Hills, in the island of Barbadoes [G.B., 1769] on 20 February 1912.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
