     He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Colonel George de la Poer Beresford Pakenham was born on 4 December 1875.¹ He was the son of Charles George Pakenham and Emily Blanche Harrison.² He married, firstly, Emilie Elsie Fowler, daughter of William Fowler, on 23 February 1905.¹ He married, secondly, Marie Marthe Amalie (?) in 1923.¹ He died on 29 December 1960 at age 85.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches six times.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Border Regiment, Indian Army.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1922.¹

     Emilie Elsie Fowler was the daughter of William Fowler.² She married Colonel George de la Poer Beresford Pakenham, son of Charles George Pakenham and Emily Blanche Harrison, on 23 February 1905.¹ She died on 15 July 1921.¹
     From 23 February 1905, her married name became Pakenham.

     Lt.-Col. Raymond Beresford Pakenham was born on 31 December 1907.¹ He is the son of Colonel George de la Poer Beresford Pakenham and Emilie Elsie Fowler.² He married, firstly, Sheila Barbara Kathleen Mason, daughter of Joseph Mason, on 30 September 1930.¹ He and Sheila Barbara Kathleen Mason were divorced in 1934.¹ He married, secondly, Sophia Patricia Pollock, daughter of Captain R.      From 30 September 1930, her married name became Pakenham.

     William Antony Beresford Pakenham was born on 24 November 1910.¹ He was the son of Colonel George de la Poer Beresford Pakenham and Emilie Elsie Fowler.² He died on 9 June 1968 at age 57.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Border Regiment.¹

     Hewitt John Havelock Pakenham was born on 26 August 1880.¹ He was the son of Charles George Pakenham and Emily Blanche Harrison.² He married, firstly, Claire May Berdoe-Wilkinson, daughter of Edmond Berdoe-Wilkinson, in February 1906.¹ He married, secondly, Molly Cook, daughter of William Henry Cook, on 16 May 1946.¹ He died in 1978.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the East Lancashire Regiment.¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1902.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Lancashire Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹
