     He was educated at Naval College, CanadaG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Canadian Navy.1 He was Paymaster Director-General of the Royal Canadian Navy between 1939 and 1945.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He lived in 1952 at 7 Lorne Terrace, Halifax, Nova Scotia, CanadaG.1
