     He was educated at Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Irish Rifles.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force, in Atlantic Convoys.¹

     Henry Gisborne Gordon was born on 29 August 1889.¹ He was the son of Alexander Hamilton Miller Haven Gordon and Ada Austen Eyre.² He died in June 1928 at age 38 at New Zealand, as result of wounds received in the First World War, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Eldred Pottinger Gordon was born on 24 May 1891.¹ He was the son of Alexander Hamilton Miller Haven Gordon and Ada Austen Eyre.² He died on 22 November 1915 at age 24 at Mesopotamia, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 104th Wellesley’s Rifles.¹

     Ivy Dorothy Catherine Gordon was born on 1 February 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Hamilton Miller Haven Gordon and Ada Austen Eyre.² She died on 20 July 1955 at age 69, unmarried.¹

     Margerie Frances Gordon was born on 18 November 1893.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Hamilton Miller Haven Gordon and Ada Austen Eyre.² She married John Croker Bulteel, son of Percy Francis Bulteel and Julia Eleanor Pine-Coffin, on 6 October 1920.¹ She died on 28 January 1953 at age 59.¹
     From 6 October 1920, her married name became Bulteel.¹

     Honor Gordon was born on 13 April 1896.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Hamilton Miller Haven Gordon and Ada Austen Eyre.² She married Cecil Upton Wills, son of Lt.-Col. Caleb Sherar Wills, on 16 September 1922.¹
     From 16 September 1922, her married name became Wills. She lived in 1976 at Gwelo Cottage, 117 Gregories Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England.¹
