     Lydia Maria Fisher was born on 15 November 1857.2 She was the daughter of Thomas White Fisher and Eliza Clibborn Robinson.3,2 She married Marcus Goodbody, son of Marcus Goodbody and Hannah Woodcock Perry, on 6 September 1893.1 She died on 2 March 1942 at age 84.1 She was buried at Friends Burial Ground, Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland.2
     From 6 September 1893, her married name became Goodbody. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1918.1
