     Cecil Maurice Goodbody was born on 12 November 1874.¹ He was the son of William Robinson Goodbody and Emily Davis.² He married Edith Isobel Saunderson, daughter of Alexander Saunderson, on 21 September 1902.¹ He died on 23 June 1936 at age 61.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Indian Army Medical Service.¹ He was surgeon to the Maharajah of Bikaner.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [Southern Rhodesia]¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1918.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (F.R.C.S.I.)¹

     From 21 September 1902, her married name became Goodbody.

     Douglas Maurice Goodbody was born on 23 March 1905.¹ He was the son of Cecil Maurice Goodbody and Edith Isobel Saunderson.² He married Marcelle Yvonne Rubin Raphael, daughter of Joseph Henry Raphael, on 3 October 1938.¹ He died in April 1996 at age 91 at Haringey, London, England.³
     He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, England.¹ He was a practising Barrister-at-Iaw.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1926 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of intelligence officer.¹ He retired from the military in 1946, with the rank of Squadron Leader, late of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was in Government Service abroad between 1951 and 1966.¹
