     Lt.-Col. Cyril Charles West was born on 4 December 1878.² He was the son of Alfred Edward West and Florence Levey.^3,2 He married Ursula May Sealy Gillman, daughter of Thomas Herbert Gillman and Maria Catherine Beecher Sealy, on 12 February 1925.¹ He died on 10 February 1953 at age 74, without issue.²
     He was educated at Stubbington House School, Fareham, Hampshire, England^G.² He was commissioned in 1899 with the rank of officer, in the service of the The Black Watch.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.² He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.² He retired from the military in 1919, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, late of the The Black Watch.²

     Catherine Crooke Gillman was born on 16 September 1849.¹ She was the daughter of Webb Gillman and Elizabeth Gardiner.² She died on 13 February 1852 at age 2.¹

     Elizabeth Jane Gillman was born on 8 October 1851.¹ She was the daughter of Webb Gillman and Elizabeth Gardiner.² She married Richard Hayes Barter on 30 July 1885.¹ She died after 1895.¹
     From 30 July 1885, her married name became Barter.

     Richard Hayes Barter married Elizabeth Jane Gillman, daughter of Webb Gillman and Elizabeth Gardiner, on 30 July 1885.¹ He died after 1895.¹
     He lived at Annsgrove, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Richard Gillman was baptised on 17 June 1799.¹ He was the son of Webb Gillman and Catherine Crooke.² He died on 25 January 1850 at age 50, unmarried.¹
     He lived at Riverstown, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Sarah Gillman was born on 3 March 1788.¹ She was the daughter of Webb Gillman and Catherine Crooke.² She died on 8 July 1788.

     Elizabeth Mary Gillman was born on 4 February 1790.¹ She was the daughter of Webb Gillman and Catherine Crooke.² She married William Hammond on 16 March 1819.¹ She died in 1848, leaving issue.¹
     From 16 March 1819, her married name became Hammond.

     William Hammond married Elizabeth Mary Gillman, daughter of Webb Gillman and Catherine Crooke, on 16 March 1819.¹ He died on 8 February 1857.¹
     He lived at Pepper Hill, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Alice Gillman was born in December 1792.¹ She was the daughter of Webb Gillman and Catherine Crooke.² She married Thomas Borlster on 11 July 1825.¹ She died circa 12 August 1826.¹ She was buried on 14 August 1826.¹
     From 11 July 1825, her married name became Borlster.

     Thomas Borlster married Alice Gillman, daughter of Webb Gillman and Catherine Crooke, on 11 July 1825.¹ He died on 3 February 1871.¹
     He lived at Dromaneen, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹
