     Robert Wogan Studdert was born on 5 December 1816.1 He was the son of Charles FitzGerald Studdert and Maria Wogan.2 He married Catherine Maria O’Brien, daughter of Admiral Robert O’Brien and Anne O’Brien, on 13 January 1847.1 He died on 27 May 1897 at age 80.3
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Cullane, County Clare, Ireland.1
