     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He served during the Second World War in Naval Ordnance Department Admiralty (and received two awards for inventions.)¹ He was Head of the British Naval Gunnery Mission in Germany between 1945 and 1949.¹

     William Isaac Crawford lived at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.¹ He lived at Sligo, County Sligo, Ireland.¹

     Helen Crawford is the daughter of William Isaac Crawford.² She married Commander Maurice Eyre Persse Studdert, son of John Alfred Studdert and Gladys Eyre Persse, on 19 December 1933.¹
     From 19 December 1933, her married name became Studdert. She lived in 1976 at Kilranelagh House, Kiltegan, County Wicklow, Ireland.¹

     Elizabeth Augusta Crawford Studdert was born on 21 March 1935.¹ She is the daughter of Commander Maurice Eyre Persse Studdert and Helen Crawford.² She married Nigel Francis Dyckhoff, son of Alfred Dyckhoff, on 30 March 1959.¹
     She graduated from St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, in 1958 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ From 30 March 1959, her married name became Dyckhoff. She was a sculptor and potter.¹

     Nigel Francis Dyckhoff is the son of Alfred Dyckhoff.¹ He married Elizabeth Augusta Crawford Studdert, daughter of Commander Maurice Eyre Persse Studdert and Helen Crawford, on 30 March 1959.¹
     He lived in 1976 at The Old Vicarage, Llanddewi Velfrey, Narberth, Pembrokeshire, Wales.¹ He lived in 1976 at Brookwell, Callow Hill, Wells, Somerset, England.¹

     Andrew Michael Studdert Studdert was born on 5 January 1960.¹ He is the son of Nigel Francis Dyckhoff and Elizabeth Augusta Crawford Studdert.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Martin Hallam Studdert Studdert was born on 11 August 1961.¹ He is the son of Nigel Francis Dyckhoff and Elizabeth Augusta Crawford Studdert.²
