     From 10 January 1934, her married name became Dewhurst.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hugh Littleton Dewhurst is the son of Captain Gerard Powys Dewhurst.¹ He married Hon. Irene Margaretta Dewar, daughter of John Alexander Dewar, 1st Baron Forteviot and Margaret Elizabeth Holland, on 10 January 1934.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     From 3 August 1970, her married name became Dewar.¹

     From 4 September 1979, her married name became Dewar.¹
