     Captain Frederick Henry le Mesurier was born on 1 September 1795 at Aldernay, Channel Islands. He married Jane Catherine Maunsell, daughter of Colonel Thomas Cecil Maunsell and Jane Wrather, on 11 September 1828.¹ He died on 8 October 1865 at age 70.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹
