     Harriet Anne Stirling was the daughter of Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine, 2nd Bt. and Lady Caroline Frances Byng.² She married Charles Swinton Hogg, son of Rt. Hon. Sir James Weir Hogg, 1st Bt. and Mary Claudine Swinton, on 29 December 1860.¹ She died on 6 April 1919.¹
     From 29 December 1860, her married name became Hogg.

     Guy Weir Hogg was born on 24 October 1861.¹ He was the son of Charles Swinton Hogg and Harriet Anne Stirling.² He married Constance Piercy Marsden, daughter of Henry Joseph Marsden, on 8 November 1892.¹ He died on 5 April 1943 at age 81.¹
     He held the office of Sheriff of St. Helena.¹ He was British Vice-Consul at Monaco.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was Consul for Portugal, Sweden and Norway to St. Helena.¹ He was managing director of SA Advertising Contractors at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.¹ He was general manager of Uganda Company.¹

     Constance Piercy Marsden was the daughter of Henry Joseph Marsden.² She married Guy Weir Hogg, son of Charles Swinton Hogg and Harriet Anne Stirling, on 8 November 1892.¹ She died on 1 January 1920.¹
     From 8 November 1892, her married name became Hogg.

     Sir Kenneth Weir Hogg, 6th Bt. was born on 13 September 1894.¹ He was the son of Guy Weir Hogg and Constance Piercy Marsden.² He married Hon. Aline Emily Partington, daughter of Oswald Partington, 2nd Baron Doverdale and Hon. Clara Isabel Murray, on 11 June 1936.¹ He died in 1985, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1933 in the Irish Guards.¹ He was AAG Directorate Recruiting and Demobilisation, War Office in 1941.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hogg, of Upper Grosvenor Street, co. Middlesex [U.K., 1846] on 21 April 1957.¹

     Hon. William Hope was born on 3 June 1715.¹ He was the son of Charles Hope, 1st Earl of Hopetoun and Lady Henrietta Johnstone.¹ He died on 24 November 1715.¹

     Lady Rachel Hope was baptised on 11 July 1721 at Abercorn, West Lothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Hope, 1st Earl of Hopetoun and Lady Henrietta Johnstone.¹

     Maybird Constance Hogg was born on 17 August 1893.² She was the daughter of Guy Weir Hogg and Constance Piercy Marsden.² She married, firstly, Captain Gerald Ewart Gott, son of Colonel George Arthur Gott, on 9 August 1915.² She and Captain Gerald Ewart Gott were divorced in 1925.² She married, secondly, Henry Burton Tate, son of Henry Tate and Grace Burton, on 22 August 1925.² She and Henry Burton Tate were divorced in 1944.² She died on 5 June 1947 at age 53.²
     From 9 August 1915, her married name became Gott. From 22 August 1925, her married name became Tate.² On 20 November 1930 her name was legally changed to Mavis Constance Hogg by Deed Poll.² She held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Willesden between 1931 and 1935.² She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex in 1935.² She held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Frome between 1935 and 1945.²

     Captain Gerald Ewart Gott was the son of Colonel George Arthur Gott.¹ He married Maybird Constance Hogg, daughter of Guy Weir Hogg and Constance Piercy Marsden, on 9 August 1915.¹ He and Maybird Constance Hogg were divorced in 1925.¹ He died on 26 July 1966.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Bedfordshire Regiment.¹

     Ernest Charles Hogg was born on 12 June 1863.¹ He was the son of Charles Swinton Hogg and Harriet Anne Stirling.² He married Lucy Peel, daughter of William Felton Peel and Sarah Edith Willoughby, on 16 August 1893.¹ He died on 2 April 1907 at age 43.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹
