     William Wallis Hoare was born on 17 January 1871.1 He was the son of Edward Hoare and Cornelia Shaw.2 He married Kathleen Mary Bolton in 1903.1
     He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1893.1 He graduated from Brussels, Belgium, in 1901 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Brussels.1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)1 He gained the rank of Honorary Captain in the Australian Army Medical Corps (Reserve of Officers.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (F.R.C.S.E.) in 1916.1

     William Jesse Hoare was born in 1826.1 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Hoare and Mary Anne Lloyd.2 He married, firstly, Anna Lidwill, daughter of Frederick Lidwill, on 25 September 1854.1 He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Gamble, daughter of John Henry Gamble, in 1857.1 He died in 1881.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 59th Regiment and 7th Royal Fusiliers.1
